Youth SVP groupsYouth SVP groups

Youth SVP is the largest youth organisation in the Catholic Church of England & Wales. Since 1999, over 10,000 young people have put their faith in to action by becoming a member of Youth SVP.

You can set up a Youth SVP group in a secondary school, 6th form college or parish. The first step is to recruit an adult – say, a teacher, a parent or school chaplain – who would act as your group adviser.

You choose your own group leader or president and you would meet regularly to plan your activities in the local community.

For more information see the Youth SVP website at www.youthsvp.org.uk.

Camp Vincent

When your group adviser registers you as a member of a Youth SVP group, you are eligible to attend Camp Vincent.

Camp Vincent is the chance for hundreds of Youth SVP members from all over England and Wales to get away together for 4 days in July and meet lots of new people. You stay in comfortable indoor accommodation at Ampleforth in North Yorkshire.
