Community Projects/Special Works

The Society runs projects known as "Special Works" to address the needs of disadvantaged people in the wider community. Services we offer include:

A furniture delivery

Furniture Stores for the repair and redistribution of donated household items

Providing support

Support Centres providing a range of services from free debt advice and general counselling to training in basic literacy, numeracy and information technology

Community Shops located in areas of deprivation

Holidays for families

Holidays include Children's Camps and Caravan Holidays

St Vincent's New Bridges

Residential Care includes two residential homes for homeless people and those with mental illness and two Home Office Approved Premises for offenders on license.

Projects for disabled people, such as social clubs, deaf centres and signed masses.

SVP Soup Runs Soup Runs provide food, warm drinks and companionship to homeless people in three areas.
