In 2010/2011, 1,593 children attended the Society's summer holiday camps. All camps charge a subsidized fee and further financial assistance is available as required in many cases. The SVP operates 8 caravans in different parts of the country and the number of low income families benefitting from a caravan holiday increased from 8 to 97 from the previous year. In general caravan holidays are free to the beneeficiary. In addition, 1,100 people benefitted from a break at the Ozanam Centre in North Wales*. Some of these clients are fee paying and others go free, sponsored by local SVP Conferences.
