Furniture projects are just one way in which the SVP provides practical help to those in need. The SVP runs 15 furniture projects across England and Wales, providing free furniture to disadvantaged individuals and families. During 2010/11, a total of 376 core volunteers across the projects helped make 13,694 deliveries and 14,436 collections during the year were made to individuals and families in need.
The furniture stores are always keen to receive donations of goods, funds and volunteer support. To find your nearest furniture store, see below:

Distribution of vouchers to be used at the Emmaus furniture store in Brighton (no collections or deliveries of furniture). Beneficiaries are visited in their homes then issued with vouchers to exchange for furniture.
